Jane:
I did not really have a sweet sixteen party, my birthday falls over the summer so that year when we were going to Disney, with my family, my parents said I could bring my best friend along, and that would be my gift. I thought that was cool and we had a lot more fun then I would have with my parents and sister.

Mary:
My parents let me throw a big party in our backyard, I have like 65 people there. It was loud and the cops came and made us be quite, my dad got real pissed about that. And he didn't let us have beer, but I guess that was ok since the cops came.

Joe:
My parents rented a hall because they wanted to combine my friend party with my family party, which was cool. I got to drink, though my parents don't know that. They spent a lot of money on the food and decorations and stuff, though I really didn't care about that, I think they wanted to impress people. My friends and I just had a good time, it was cool. And we got my car, though I cant drive it till I'm 17.
